EU circular economy package: short-term measures targeting plastics crisis and market distortions

As the European Commission enters the final phase of its preparatory work on the Circular Economy Act (CEA), with the final stakeholder workshop scheduled for 30 April 2026, attention turns again to the Circular Economy package published in December 2025.
