Vincent has handled major disputes for clients in a variety of industry sectors and his experience includes shareholder and directors’ liability disputes, joint venture and project related disputes, enforcement proceedings and competition related claims, including cartel damages claims.
Foreign investment controls
Vincent advises clients across all industries in relation to any filing requirements to foreign investment screening authorities. He regularly handles technically challenging cases and has significant experience in assessing the application of foreign direct investment (“FDI”) regimes, performing filings with the Belgian Interfederal Screening Committee and coordinating and managing multi-jurisdictional FDI filings with VBB’s partner firms. Vincent has gained particular experience in the pharmaceutical, technology, energy and critical infrastructure sectors, where he has assisted and obtained clearance on several strategic, high-profile and complex transactions.
Prior to joining VBB, Vincent gained experience in international corporate taxation at a leading international law firm in Paris. He gained further experience in corporate law matters during internships in law firms in Brussels, the Antwerp Commercial court in Mechelen and the public prosecutor’s office of Leuven.

Representative matters
- Representing a Dutch water management authority within the context of complex and high-stakes legal proceedings valued at approximately EUR 70 million and with high precedent value against a leading construction company surrounding the renovation of a water treatment plant
- Representing a leading investment group in litigation and asset recovery actions in multiple jurisdictions regarding a listed distributor of pharmaceutical products
- Representing a leading Belgian renewable energy company in various litigation matters (including project related)
- Advising various clients on complex foreign investment controls and assisting them with their Belgian investment control filings
- Acting for Dutch investment company Parcom in relation to the Belgian aspects of the acquisition of the majority of the shares in Yource from Belgian investment fund KeBeK Private Equity
- Acting for Sani/Ikos Group, the leading luxury beach resort group in the Mediterranean, on the Belgian aspects of its strategic agreement with GIC, a global institutional investor, valuing the Sani/Ikos Group at EUR 2.3 billion.
Pro bono
Vincent plays an active role in the firm’s pro bono initiatives and has served clients including Ukrainian refugees following Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine.
