On 5 March 2025, the European Commission published its updates to the model contractual clauses for AI procurement (MCC-AI). The clauses establish important guidance for public organisations looking to procure AI systems under the EU AI Act. The guidance specifically applies to public organisations but also serves as a useful tool for private organisations when procuring AI systems.
