Belgian Competition Authority Conditionally Approves Acquisition of Press Activities IPM Presse by Rossel

On 3 July 2026, the Belgian Competition Authority (BCA) conditionally approved the acquisition by Rossel of the press activities of IPM Presse.
The transaction creates a single owner of every French-language printed daily newspaper in Belgium. A note analysing the BCA decision, along with the BCA press release and an opinion by the European Board for Media Services, are attached.
