European Commission publishes draft Industrial Accelerator Act: What to expect?

On 4 March 2026, the European Commission published its proposal for a regulation establishing a framework of measures for the acceleration of industrial capacity and decarbonisation in strategic sectors. The underlying aim is to boost manufacturing, grow businesses, and create jobs in the EU, while supporting European Union industry’s adoption of cleaner, future-ready technologies.
