Virginie Lescot specialises in corporate law.
Virginie advises on all aspects of corporate law with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, company restructurings and private equity transactions. In these fields, she assists international groups of companies, PE funds and local medium-sized companies in various industry sectors.
Prior to joining Van Bael & Bellis, Virginie worked for 10 years in a leading international law firm where she was the senior lead associate of the Belgium office’s corporate M&A practice group.
Representative matters
- Acting for Gedeon Richter on its strategic acquisition of 100% of the shares in Estetra and Neuralis, and certain assets of Mithra Recherche et Développement, from Mithra Pharmaceuticals.
- Advising EU wood processing industries, including plywood and parquet, in relation to several anti-dumping and anti-circumvention proceedings.
