He specializes in the financing and development of energy and infrastructure projects, including PPP and DBFM, with a strong focus on both finance documents and project contracts.
Matthias also advises on matters relating to complex cross-border transactions, contract drafting, negotiation and conflict resolution. His experience in financing documentation as well as in project and development contracts allows him to advise clients on the interests of all stakeholders in the development of projects.
In addition to his legal expertise, Matthias is also a certified mediator, which drives him to seek optimal solutions and resolve issues in a manner favorable to all parties.
Prior to joining VBB, Matthias worked in the Energy and Infrastructure practice of an international law firm in Brussels.
