VBB is pleased to have once again played a major role in the Chambers and Partners Merger Control Global Practice Guide. The 2025 edition is now live and can be accessed here.

VBB founding partner Jean-François Bellis and competition practice co-head Porter Elliott served as the book’s global editors and wrote the Introduction, while a team of 10 VBB lawyers contributed various chapters to the guide.

Porter Elliott, Catherine Gordley, and Niharika Parshurampuria authored the EU chapter. Alex Stratakis and Marc Freedman authored the UK chapter. Peter L’Ecluse, Koen T’Syen and Amirsalar Kavoosi authored the Belgium chapter.

Fabrizio Di Gianni and Giovanni Pregno are authoring the Italian chapter, which will be released shortly.

The guide offers practical insights into merger control rules across 31 jurisdictions, with more upcoming, and therefore serves as a valuable resource for businesses, legal practitioners and advisors navigating complex multi-jurisdictional merger filings.
