Sincere congratulations to our long-standing client Gedeon Richter on its acquisition of all shares in Estetra and Neuralis from Mithra Pharmaceuticals.This transaction secures the long-term perennity of Mithra’s key asset, the own-developed lead platform based on Estetrol (E4), a unique, native estrogen.  It also secures the employment of the current members of personnel of Estetra and Neuralis and various members of personnel of Mithra.  This represents a unique opportunity for Gedeon Richter to further expand and deepen its presence in its core Women’s Healthcare (WHC) business worldwide.

The transaction was one of the first large pre-pack procedures under Belgian law, and the first one involving a listed entity.  The transaction also introduced various innovative solutions and can be considered a successful application of the new pre-pack procedure.
