International law firm Van Bael & Bellis (VBB) is pleased to announce that Tim Vermeir has joined the firm today as a partner in Brussels to lead its energy practice.

Tim is a leading Belgian energy lawyer with over 25 years’ experience of advising on energy regulatory and commercial issues, energy projects and energy disputes. He has longstanding deep knowledge of the Belgian and EU regulatory and legal landscape and has been involved in most of the landmark energy-related cases before the Belgian Constitutional Court, the Council of State and the Cour des Marchés / Marktenhof.

Tim brings over to VBB his track record and activities at Blixt, the highly regarded energy boutique firm noted for its focus on innovative and renewable energy delivery models that he co-founded in 2010. Tim has been recognised for his expertise by the leading legal directories for many years.
