Commission publishes EUDR Simplification Package

Yesterday, the European Commission published its latest EUDR simplification package notably proposing certain changes to the EUDR product scope.
The substantive due diligence obligations remain the same as does the date of entry into application of the EUDR on 30 December 2026. The Commission has also published updated guidance and FAQ documents as well as announced a revised implementing act on the EUDR Information System. In this client alert, we provide a short overview of these simplifications.
