Accessibility features
Navigation shortcuts
Each page includes a clear, concise menu that allows users to go directly to the main content. Keyboard users will see these links appear on screen when navigating with the Tab key. All pages provide a consistent top-level navigation menu, a link to the homepage, a search function, and access to the sitemap.
Structured and semantic markup
HTML heading tags (H1, H2) are used to define the structure of each page. The H1 tag identifies the main title, while H2 tags denote subsections, ensuring logical and accessible content hierarchy.
Alternative text for images
Most content images feature descriptive alternative text to support screen reader users. Decorative images are assigned empty alternative descriptions. We regularly review and update older content to ensure all images meet current accessibility standards.
Font sizes
Users can adjust text size through their browser settings. In most browsers, the font size can be increased or decreased using Ctrl and + or Ctrl and – (or Command and + / – on Mac).
Screen resolution
The site is designed to display effectively across a wide range of devices and screen resolutions.
Screen reader compatibility
All text content is designed to be fully accessible via screen readers to support users who are blind or have low vision.
Ongoing accessibility improvements
We regularly use automated and manual tools to identify and resolve accessibility issues. Accessibility is a key consideration in our ongoing website maintenance and development.
