Counsel Koen T'Syen elected President of AIJA's Healthcare and Life Sciences Commission

VBB Counsel Koen T'Syen has been elected as the President of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Commission of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) at the Association's 62nd International Young Lawyers’ Congress. The Congress, held in Madrid from 3-7 September 2024, brought together over 750 lawyers aged 45 and under, representing around 65 jurisdictions from across the world.
Koen is looking forward to collaborating with the Commission’s newly elected Vice-Presidents, Elisa Stefanini of Portolano Cavallo, and Marek Holka of Čechová & Partners, in driving the Commission’s continuing development and growth.
AIJA, the only global association connecting lawyers and in-house counsel aged 45 and under, boasts a membership of over 4,000 legal professionals and provides members with a wide range of international networking, learning and development opportunities. Its activities are managed through more than 20 Commissions, with the Healthcare and Life Sciences Commission, established in 2019, standing out as one of its fastest-growing groups.
